It was windy outside and I had just gotten out of the shower I wrapped myself in a fluffy blue dressing gown, I didn't feel very well and you brought me tea as I watched the autumn leaves blow around the back yard. It started to rain and you wrapped your arms around me and kissed the top of my head. Like it was the most normal thing in the world and most likely the reason why I felt sick, I started to pull whole carrots out of my mouth, you seemed not to notice.
I wasn't choking and it didn't hurt, but I kept pulling and more and more carrots kept coming up out of my mouth. They were long and very orange and covered in dirt just as if I pulled them from my garden. I wondered if it would be weird to make soup out of my mouth carrots.
I woke up with a sore throat.
